austin

so, i'm sitting in austin now, on some steps in amelie's apartment complex (using *borrowed* internet of course). i've been here since tuesday, doing some apartment hunting. (i did find a place, and its way nice... hopefully i'll have pictures up soon.) the past couple of days have been spent chilling out. doing some swimming, went to see a movie (an inconvenient truth -- i highly recommend it to anyone who cares about the world at all. there are a few too many 'yay, al gore' moments, but for those that can look past that, its very worthwhile.) the swimming has been really cool... there's a natural spring here called barton springs that has been made into a neato (and very cold) swimming place. anyway, i think its time to go now, figure out what to do tonight... just thought i should let y'all know that i'm still alive.
